David Strauss is an Associate with Cushman & Wakefield. David specializes in leasing urban retail and mixed-use developments in downtown San Diego and central trade areas throughout San Diego.

David’s Landlord representation projects include representation for Yacoel Properties, J & R Oil and Pacific Retail Developers. He also performs Tenant representation on sale and leasing assignments throughout San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino and Imperial Counties. David has successfully negotiated leases with such notable tenants as FedEx Kinko’s, Golden Spoon Frozen Yogurt, Z Pizza, Mobil One Oil Lube Express, 1 800 Flowers, Core Power Yoga and the multiple restaurant concepts of Food Friends & Family. In addition while at Epsteen & Associates David worked as a key team member focusing on site selection and site research for national and regional retailers such as; Starbuck’s, Best Buy, CVS Pharmacies, Sammy’s Pizza and Restaurants Unlimited.

David received his Bachelor of Arts in Hotel/Restaurant Management from Colorado State University. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). David has volunteered with numerous charitable organizations over the past ten years including St. Vincent De Paul and Scripps Health Care.
